Course Outline:
This Intermediate Year is designed to deepen and extend your use of Morenian experiential methods into your thinking and professional practice whilst continuing to gain credit towards ANZPA accreditation. You are familiar with psychodramatic techniques, understand the principles of warm up and spontaneity and have begun directing enactments. The focus is on developing your confidence and deepen your ability to produce satisfying dramatic enactments, to recognise and work with group themes, broaden your therapeutic interventions, and apply Morenian concepts more easily in your work and life.
The training has two aspects:
- psychodrama theory and practice
- personal development.
During the year, you will further develop the ability to work with what emerges in the moment in a drama or in the group, and to stay congruent in the face of the unknown.
